Flight International and secured key strategic
partners with the technical and financial
capabilities of accelerating the
commercialization of advanced cutting-edge
“green” technologies.
Mr.
Rodante and his Green Flight Team are known as
innovators in the renewable fuels industry. Doug
designed a unique public relations campaign,
initiated the first turbine experimental fuels
test program for the Federal Aviation
Administration, and subsequently set two world
aviation records with Green Fuels, by flying the
first jet aircraft on renewable fuel, and the
first United States Transcontinental jet flight
on biofuel.
Prior to the inception of Green Flight
International, there was skepticism and doubt
that an aircraft could safely fly on traditional
renewable fuel due to numerous concerns, such as
material compatibility, energy content and cold
flow temperatures. By compiling a highly skilled
team of industry professionals, he was able to
alleviate all FAA technical issues and was
successful in generating massive media
attention, not only to the potential of
renewable fuels in mainstream transportation
systems, but the capabilities of the Green
Flight International Team.
