Technology Pursuits
Since Green
Flight’s inception in 2006, we have pursued
various renewable technologies and are involved
in several consortiums pursuing environmentally
friendly “drop in” petroleum replacements. Our
primary focus is algae based fuels and
cellulosic ethanol production.
Besides
collaborating with major defense contractors,
universities and private industry in our pursuit
of technologies, in December of 2009, we
initiated an energy cane test program in order
to determine the appropriate feedstocks needed
for a Florida based bio-refinery. Our research
and development is ongoing.
We
continue to work with partners exploring
advanced renewable technologies with the
intention of
commercialization. We are always interested in
collaborations with independent researchers,
scientists, universities, and commercial
entities.
